Location update: In order to keep our CCG community safe during the current COVID-19 situation, our 2020 Youth Week events will take place online rather than in Hungary. We hope to be back in Piliscsaba in the near future!
Piliscsaba: Outskirts of Budapest
An easy train ride from Budapest takes us to the fabulous Pilis mountains. We have the advantage of accessible infrastructure and the relaxing natural surroundings.
We occupy a student dorm for the duration of the course. Bedrooms are located in small clusters with shared kitchenettes and bathrooms. Additional facilities include larger kitchens, community rooms, a small patio, WiFi, extensive outdoor spaces and so much more. A warm, welcoming building.
Arrival
To Budapest
As a capital in central Europe, there are many affordable ways to reach Budapest.
By plane: various cheap flights arrive at Ferihegy Airport.
By train: you can arrive at either Keleti Pályaudvar, Déli Pályaudvar or Nyugati Pályaudvar and then comfortably take the local train to the venue.
By bus: you can arrive to Népliget, Kelenföld, Áprád híd or various other stops which have easy connections to the local train station.
By boat: it is possible to arrive on the Danube—it is not the cheapest but definitely the most picturesque means of transport.
To Piliscsaba
Train connections to Piliscsaba can be found at Nyugati Pályaudvar (Railway Station) in the city center. It is well connected on Metro line 3 or tram lines 4 and 6.
Two options:
Take train G72 to Angyalföld (10 minutes), then change to train S72 for half an hour. You get off at Pázmáneum and can find the accommodation at 10 minutes' walk.
Take train Z72 to Piliscsaba (30 minutes), then change to S72 for fifteen minutes. You get off at Pázmáneum and can find the accommodation at 10 minutes' walk.
